24V Ridington MAX-R All Terrain Ride-On Buggy with Remote - Green

This buggy combines speed, torque, 4WD and remote operation all in one great ride! The Max-R UTV is powered by four heavy-duty gearboxes, mated to each of the rugged 15” EVA wheels, allowing kids to run it on virtually any terrain up to 7 mph. The latest XHD variant offers even more torque and is super quiet making it a pleasure for adults to supervise playtime. Leather seats independently adjust to accommodate two riders 3 to 8+ and there is a “lockout switch” for remote operation by parents if the child is not yet ready to drive it. Some assembly is required (about an hour) and it’s a great way to learn its functionality.

Good Ride-on

"I am rating this product an 3 out of 5 but the entire experience a 4 out of 5. The purchase price was a little expensive in comparison to other ride on toys but the defining factor was the overall speed being 14 mph. My kids love it and on the first day they flipped it upside down driving up a fence trying to cut a turn. I am thankful this thing has decent seat belts because it kept him strapped in. The run time is decent as well and the music/audio with stories is a neat touch. I do like that it also displays the battery health as well. There were a few negatives to this ride on in my opinion which I won’t blame 100% on the ride on because some of this is user error. The first was during assembly I was pretty much done and installing the steering wheel which for some reason would not line up correctly and I ended up pulling the wiring from the steering wheel out of it completely and it looked broken. I was like okay I can live without that. After that everything was going fine until the main charger that came with it would not charge and this was after maybe a week of owning this thing. The company was highly responsive and got back to me about my issue and resolved it quickly, or so I thought. They send me a new charger which the USPS messed up on and I didn’t receive until a week after it said it was delivered but I had already ordered a replacement charger from Amazon and it seemed to work just fine. Once I received the charger from bigtoysdirect it ended up being a completely wrong charger that I have no use for but I do appreciate the effort. The last complaint was I had left it out in the rain for a day and when I came out the next day the ride on would turn on and everything would work but the gas pedal. It might have driven a few seconds then it would abruptly stop then stop driving all together. Everything was fine though so I just assumed it was water in the pedal. I fixed this by keeping it upright so it could drain and that did seem to fix this issue. I just don’t like that a 700 ride on wouldn’t be as water proof as some of its counterparts. All-in-all it was a easy process from purchasing to assembling. The customer service was helpful and responsive and the ride on was pretty good just a little expensive with the few issues."

Great all terrain vehicle for kids

"We purchased this for my 4 and 2 year old boys for Christmas to replace their broke GMC truck. This car is great! Our driveway is pretty steep and this thing goes up easily! It’s pretty quick also for a battery operated car. We’re pretty happy with it. My only complaint is that the remote doesn’t work unless the switch is flipped in car. For example, if my toddler is driving, and is heading toward a dangerous or sketchy area I can’t use the remote to stop him like I can with our other vehicles. The radio also sucks. There isn’t a radio FM selection like other vehicle and it’s pre recorded music. When it’s playing, it sounds like the ice cream man is coming."

Good Experience

"Bought for my son’s birthday. Decided to order a few weeks early just in case something was missing for complete assembly, which I’m glad I did because there was a missing part that took a week to get mailed to me however their customer service was outstanding and super responsive. I sent an email and had a call from customer service literally 10 minutes later with the part in the mail that day. The MaxR runs great and overall happy enough with the experience to give 5 stars."
